About Us
Giving used hardware a second life since day one.
ReviveByte was born from a simple observation: perfectly functional IT components were being discarded every day. With a family background in trading and a degree in management, our founder began a career in commodities trading. One pivotal day, tasked with disposing of a company's servers, he discovered that the recycling company's proposal meant these working components would never be repurposed. That moment revealed a significant market gap.
On one side were companies eager to offload working IT equipment. On the other, businesses and individuals looking for quality components at reduced cost. By bridging this gap, a vast amount of IT equipment could be diverted from landfill and put back into productive use.
What started as a part-time venture quickly scaled. Within the first six months, we processed approximately 1,000 orders, built a growing network of suppliers, and earned the trust of customers across the UK. That growth has not been without its challenges — rising demand required additional capital, rigorous technical training to test and verify every component, and the constant balancing act of maintaining the highest service standards.
Today, ReviveByte purchases used CPUs and RAM from individuals and businesses across the UK. Every component is tested, verified, and redistributed to the global market — primarily to equip schools in developing countries with affordable, reliable hardware. We are proud to play our part in the circular economy, turning what would have been electronic waste into opportunity.
Environmental Stewardship
Reusing functional IT equipment reduces electronic waste in landfills and conserves the metals and natural resources needed to manufacture new components.
Better Returns for Sellers
Companies and individuals selling their old IT components receive fair, transparent pricing — better than scrapping or recycling.
Empowering Entrepreneurs
Our primary customers are small businesses and individuals starting new ventures. Affordable used hardware helps minimise startup costs.
Circular Economy
Every component we purchase is tested and redistributed, keeping valuable resources in productive use rather than heading to landfill.
