Testing Procedures

Every item we receive goes through a rigorous two-stage testing process to ensure quality and functionality.

Stage 1: Physical Inspection

Every processor is carefully examined for physical damage before diagnostic testing begins. We do not accept CPUs with any of the following:

CPU

Chipped corners

Substrate must be intact with no chips or cracks along the edges.

Missing SMD capacitors

All surface-mount capacitors on the underside must be present.

flat ref

Bent or warped

Processor must lie flat with no warping of the IHS or substrate.

Stage 2: Intel Diagnostics

Every CPU that passes physical inspection is installed in a test system and run through a full Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool (IPDT) suite. The processor must pass all diagnostic tests to be accepted.

Each Intel processor has a tiny QR code containing its unique serial number. We read and record this serial number alongside your order number, allowing us to track exactly which processors came from your shipment.

If Testing Passes

Payment is made within 1–2 business days of testing completion via your chosen payment method (PayPal or bank transfer).

If Testing Fails

We email you a written reason with supporting photos of the fault, so you can see exactly what we found. You then choose: accept an adjusted price for the affected item, or have it returned free of charge — we cover return postage on every order, including bulk and trade consignments.

You have 5 business days to respond. Returns go to the address you provided when placing the order, which can’t be changed once you’ve dispatched to us.

After Verification

Once items have been tested and verified, and payment has been issued, no warranty is required from the seller. Phrases such as "sold as seen" or "no returns" are expressly not part of the purchase agreement and are in no way considered agreed upon.

A Note on Occasional Test Failures

It occasionally happens that a processor does not pass on our test systems, even though you, as the seller, experienced no issues with it. In such cases the CPU is not necessarily defective, but we cannot purchase it because our customers may encounter the same issue. We will return any such processor to you at no cost.
